1st year students were accompanied to Mother Dairy, Bangalore, a flagship dairy of KMF having ISO22000:2005 Certification.
The dairy is primarily set up for dispensing liquid milk to customers through Bulk Vending systems. Today, the Dairy stands expanded from 2 lakh litres to 7 lakh litres milk processing capacity per day. Also, it has facilities to pack and distribute milk & curd in different pack formats in the most hygienic way.
The students were introduced and exposed to various divisions which included quality control, milk processing and packing, Paneer processing division, sterilized flavored milk section, milk powder plant, ice cream plant and finished goods stores.
